Cherish Chen is a Chinese American writer in Los Angeles.

 

A graduate of the USC's School of Cinematic Arts, she got her start in the film industry as a producer, working in marketing for films such as MAD MAX: FURY ROAD and GODZILLA before making her way to the digital space.

 

At the production company RocketJump, Cherish produced THE ROCKETJUMP FILM SCHOOL, an online channel dedicated to democratizing film school and storytelling knowledge for filmmakers all over the world. With accessibility and practical application as its guide, RJFS created videos that not only celebrated the depth and power of cinema but empowered millions of viewers to see themselves as storytellers.

While the channel has continued to find new audiences and grow, Cherish left to pursue her first love and returned to writing.

 

Her comic book writing debut RADIANT BLACK #6 was released in July 2021 at Image Comics and her upcoming miniseries RADIANT RED arrives in March 2022.
